The First UK Reclaim the Fields Gathering

The call to reclaim the fields must abandon traditional stereotypes and if it is to succeed; we all must learn to unite on common issues if we are to move towards our demands. As the experiences of RTF in the last few years have shown, our strength is measured by the integrity and diversity of our relationships.

It is in this knowledge that we invite you to the first UK Reclaim the Fields gathering in March. The intention behind this gathering is to create an open forum for people involved in land projects in the UK to meet and share ideas with others from similar projects around Europe. There will be play time and party time, discussion time and planning time around the issues of access to land, GM, seed saving, security of tenure, collective farms, appropriate technology, the international day of peasant struggles and much more besides

The exact date and place of the gathering are still under discussion and will be published shortly. But rest assured the camp will be held in a resplendent place, with all the comforts of wild camping and on a site relevant to the political issues of reclaiming the fields.
