The Mound, Brighton Community Garden, England

The Mound's gardeners are a growing community of individuals eager to generate a derelict space in the city center of Brighton into a vibrant food growing space.

The space has been unused and unloved for 14 years so we think it’s high time that it gets a positive makeover. It’s a great space with bags of potential. We want to reach an agreement with the owners so we can turn it into a green and productive oasis – a community space, an education space and a growing space.

The Mound is directly behind The Earth and Stars pub on the junction of Queens Road and Church Street, about 5 minutes walk from Brighton Station.
