In 2009 a group of people started to do gardening on unused green-spaces in the urban area of vienna, and to spread out the idea of guerrilla gardening. In spring 2009 there was a small garden established, which was destroyed in summer. The next spring different places where occupied, from some we were banned imediatly others exist for while, and one garden is still existing now. The Gardens name is “Längenfeldgarten” – after one year it’s know a place were a lot of people got involved in this community garden. The Garden is a open place, it’s possible for everybody to plant and harvest there and to share the place with each other. There has been different gardening actions, workshops, eatings and other stuff, like small parties there.
