On the 10th of October approx. 25 activists gathered in Vienna to found a local RTf group. After a short round of introduction stories about the Reclaim The Fields Camp in Rosia Montana, Romania where shared and in this context a call for solidarity action was put in place. The preparation meeting for these actions will take place on the 17th of october at 8 pm.
Members of several local collectives as Guerilla Gardening, Agrar-Attac, Food Coops, Hofkollektiv Wieserhoisl, Permaculture Vienna, CSA Projects, local community kitchens etc. took part in the meeting.
The next oportunity to meet people of Reclaim The Fields group will be on sunday the 16th of october at the Boku Versuchsgarten Jedlersdorf, Gerasdorferstr. 103, Wien. There we will prepare the soil for the next season. A recently established tries to start a CSA-project there. Inspiration for the action came from the ortoloco-colelctive in Zürich, Switzerland.
